They have never wavered from the original Elder’s vision of bringing the Jawoyn people together as one nation, caring for country, and developing economic independence.
All proceeds that flow from Jawoyn businesses are re-invested into the community, for human services, employment, education and successful partnerships in tourism and land management.

How to get here
Katherine Airport is a 45-minute flight from Darwin. Flights operate with Air North 3 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in both directions.
Costs range between $270 to $500 each way.
Alternatively, there are a few companies that offer private flights (both helicopter and airplane) from Darwin and other places within the NT.
From Katherine, you can hire a car with Thrifty or Hertz or take a taxi for the 20-minute drive to Nitmiluk Gorge.
Greyhound Australia travel to and from Katherine every day. The travel time is around 3hrs and 45mins and the cost is around $75-$100.
Once in Katherine, you can hire a car or take a taxi for the 20-minute drive to Nitmiluk Gorge.
Nitmiluk National Park is a 3.5hr drive from Darwin. Simply head down the Stuart Highway until you reach Katherine. Heading along Gorge Rd, Nitmiluk National Park is located 30mins out of Katherine.
The Ghan runs between Adelaide and Darwin, stopping in Katherine where guests can step off the train for a leisurely cruise on the Katherine River gazing in wonder at towering sandstone cliffs.
You can choose to upgrade your excursion with a helicopter or scenic flight over Nitmiluk National Park to experience the spectacular Gorge from above.
